Parental involvement outcomes

This research project, conducted in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority, focuses on investigating and assessing the non-cognitive skills, aspirations, and parental involvement of a significant number of children in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Through close collaboration with the Early Childhood Authority, the project encompasses comprehensive data collection efforts and the co-organization of research activities and conferences. Our findings aim to shed light on key psychological skills among young children in Abu Dhabi, such as grit and growth mindsets.

Through this important initiative, we strive to contribute to the well-being and development of children in Abu Dhabi, ensuring that they possess the necessary skills and support system to thrive in their formative years.

The insights gained from this research will provide policymakers with crucial information about the prevalence of these important psychological attributes in early childhood. Understanding these factors is vital for designing effective childhood development initiatives aimed at fostering resilience and a positive mindset among the region’s youth.

Moreover, the gathered data on parental involvement will play a significant role in informing governmental strategies focused on enhancing children’s well-being through increased paternal engagement.
